NCT (엔시티), which stands for 'Neo Culture Technology,' is a boy group concept introduced by SM Entertainment. On May 10, 2023, SM Entertainment announced the departure of Lucas from the group and his sub-units. Furthermore, on May 24, 2023, SM Entertainment revealed that Shotaro and Sungchan would also be departing from NCT and their respective sub-units.
On August 28, 2024, Taeil left the group following allegations of involvement in a criminal case related to a sexual offense.
