HUNTR/X Members Profile

HUNTR/X is a powerful fictional K-pop girl group brought to life in the 2025 Netflix animated film KPop Demon Hunters. Comprised of three dynamic characters — Rumi, Mira, and Zoey — the group is voiced by Arden Cho, May Hong, and Ji-young Yoo. Set in a vibrant universe where music meets mythology, HUNTR/X shines as global pop icons performing on massive stages by day, and fierce demon hunters defending the world from supernatural threats by night.

First introduced to the public on April 24, 2025, the trio quickly captured attention after a teaser trailer revealed their double lives — showcasing their high-energy performances alongside intense, action-packed battles. Central to their story is a rivalry with the Saja Boys, a mysterious all-male idol group with a dark secret: they’re actually demons set on destroying HUNTR/X and stealing their immense popularity. This unique blend of fantasy, pop culture, and K-pop flair positions HUNTR/X as one of the most exciting concepts in the animated music universe.

HUNTR/X Debut Date

HUNTR/X does not have a proper debut date; they were publicly introduced on April 24, 2025.

Members Profile:

1. Zoey

Position:
Main Rapper, Lyricist, Vocalist, Maknae
More About Zoey:
Zoey is the heart of HUNTR/X — cheerful, full of energy, and always eager to spread joy to both her teammates and fans. Her bright personality makes her instantly lovable, though it often comes with a dose of innocence. Zoey tends to believe in things wholeheartedly, like thinking vocal tonics could genuinely improve her singing voice. Her trusting nature also makes her less perceptive to subtle changes, as seen when she failed to notice Rumi’s unusual behavior — something Mira caught on to much earlier.

Despite her role as a demon hunter, Zoey is easily distracted, especially when it comes to the Saja Boys. She was twice captivated by their hypnotic track "Soda Pop," revealing both her playful curiosity and her tendency to see the good in others — even wondering if the Saja Boys were just misunderstood during their debut. Among the trio, Zoey was also the quickest to develop a crush, particularly on Mystery, becoming visibly flustered when he sat beside her during a fan event.

Zoey’s optimism and emotional openness are both her strength and vulnerability — making her an endearing character who wears her heart on her sleeve.

2. Mira

Position: Main Dancer, Lead Rapper, Vocalist, Visual
More About Mira:
Mira is the group's sharp-tongued realist — blunt, sarcastic, and unapologetically honest. Her tough exterior and dry humor often lead to snarky remarks, especially when calling out Rumi for questionable decisions. But beneath that hardened shell, Mira genuinely cares for both Rumi and Zoey. They’ve given her the freedom to be herself, something she never had with the family she seemingly left behind.

Though she often comes off as stoic, Mira can match her bandmates' energy when the moment calls for it. She's not above being silly or playful around those she trusts, and her bond with the team allows her to drop the deadpan act from time to time. She’s also not immune to crushes — just as easily flustered as Zoey, whether it's with Romance or Abby, much to her annoyance.

Mira may be the group's most grounded member, but she’s proof that strength and vulnerability can coexist — and that a sharp tongue can hide a loyal heart.

3. Rumi

Position: Leader, Main Vocalist
More About Rumi:
Rumi is the heart and backbone of HUNTR/X — warm, driven, and fiercely devoted. Raised with the goal of becoming an idol, she exudes confidence, charisma, and a natural friendliness that wins over both fans and fellow members. As the group’s leader, Rumi takes on the role of caretaker, always looking out for Zoey and Mira and striving to shield those she loves from harm.

Behind her radiant presence lies intense ambition. Rumi is bound by a lifelong mission to seal the Golden Honmoon — an act that would end the demon threat once and for all. But her relentless pursuit of this goal can take a toll. She often pushes herself too hard, as seen when she performed at the Idol Awards despite her weakening voice. Mira has even called her out for refusing to rest or accept help.

Still, Rumi’s strength lies in her unwavering dedication. She leads with both grace and grit, showing that true power doesn’t mean going it alone — but caring enough to carry others with you.
